Stará Turá is a small town nestled under Javorina mountain 100 km north of the capital Bratislava.
Our school was founded here in 1948 to train young people for a work on machine tools.
It continued to expand in 1968 when the new Secondary School of Electrical Engineering opened its gates.
Presently 444 students in the age from 15 to 18 attend this Associated Secondary
Electrical School to study here both academic and vocational subjects.:

Some of them are compulsory, some are only optional.
There is the school canteen and the snackbar in the
school and the dormitory with 120 rooms for students who do not live in Stará Turá.
The gym, indoor swimming pool, playground and tennis courts are only some steps from the school.
